PRESCRIPTION cares about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need to perform (and improve) our services and treat the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care.
We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to the use of the website, software and the services of PRESCRIPTION that are accessed on it. The effective date for the validity of these terms and conditions is 25/05/2018, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by us, what this information is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data from misuse and what rights you have with respect to the personal data you provide to us. About Data Processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where we store them (or have them stored), what security techniques we use and to whom the data is accessible.

Categories of personal data

By using the website, our booking system and our app and the services available thereon, you leave certain data with us. This also happens to us as part of the execution of the treatment agreement. This may include personal data. We store and use only those personal data that are provided directly by you or of which it is clear at the time of submission that they are provided to us for processing.

Depending on the service you use, we may collect the following data:

Basis for data processing
We may only lawfully process personal data about you if we do so on a legal basis. We process your personal data because this is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and us, as set out in Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). In addition, we may process your personal data for another legitimate interest, such as informing our clients about current events or changes in our services. This basis is laid down in Article 6 (1) (f) of the AVG.

Purposes of data processing

The personal data collected by us is used for the following purposes:

Webshop software Shopify

Our online store is developed with software from Shopify. Personal data that you make available to us for our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is obliged, based on the agreement we have made with them, to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption, a strong password policy and secure data storage. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group and affiliated partners to further improve its services. Shopify takes into account the applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data.

Webhosting

Our webshop is developed with software from Shopify we have chosen for our webhosting for another party.
Personal data that you make available to us for our services will be shared with this party. Our webhosting party has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Our webhosting uses the legal standards for making appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are made to prevent loss of data. 

Email and mailing lists

Our website uses an external party to handle e-mail traffic originating from

our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms will be sent through the servers of this provider. The implementation and management will be done by our own staff. Your name and email address will

never be used for our own purposes.
At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. If you click on this you will no longer receive email from our website. This can seriously reduce the functionality of our website!

Verzenden en logistiek

When you place an order with us, it is our job to get your package delivered to you. We use services such as PostNL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence with PostNL. PostNL will only use this data for the performance of the agreement. If PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

External sales channels

We sell (some of) our products through the jc imp platform. If you place an order via this platform, jc imp shares your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order. We will handle your data confidentially.

Purpose of data processing

We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use these data - other than at your request - to contact you at a later date, we will ask you for your explicit permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to secrecy by virtue of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation. Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. These data (e.g. your IP address, web browser and operating system) are not personal data.

Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations

In appropriate cases, soap treatment store or doctors at soap may be required by law to share your information in connection with governmental fiscal or criminal investigations. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will resist within the possibilities offered by law.

Retention periods

If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data at the e-mail address we have on record, together with a list of the processors who hold this data, stating the category under which we have stored it.

Right of Rectification

You always have the right to have the data we process, or have processed, which relate to your person or can be traced back to that person, amended. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address we have on record that the data have been modified.

Right to restriction of processing

You always have the right to restrict the data we process (or have processed) that relate to or are traceable to you. You can make a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address we have on record that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Cookies Google Analytics en Facebook

Through our website, cookies are placed by the American company Google, as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track and get reports about how visitors use the website. This processor may be obliged under applicable laws and regulations to provide access to these data. We collect information about your surfing behaviour and share this data with Google. Google can interpret this information in conjunction with other data sets and thus track your movements on the Internet. Google uses this information to serve you targeted ads (Adwords) and other Google services and products.
